Safety & Protocol

What kind of COVID-19 safety protocol is in place at VOYEUR?

The VOYEUR team is taking precautions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure. In an effort to maintain additional safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, audience members, cast, and staff are required to wear a mask at all times and maintain a safe social distance for the duration of the performance.

Additionally, this immersive performance is hosted primarily outdoors, with one short venture indoors into a spacious atmosphere capable of safe social distancing.

Should I report if I or someone in my party has tested positive for COVID-19 or shows COVID-like symptoms after attending the show?

If you or someone you have been in contact with within 14 days before your show time become ill with COVID or COVID-like symptoms after you attend a performance, we ask that you let us know so that we can notify staff and other attendees of that performance.

Will I be notified if someone at my performance has since tested positive for COVID-19?

Yes, if someone within your eight person group or one of our cast members whom you came into contact with becomes ill with COVID-19, we will make every effort to notify you via email and phone.

Will I be required to complete a COVID-19 form or waiver?

Yes, we require everyone who attends VOYEUR to complete and sign a COVID waiver prior to beginning your tour, no exceptions.

What if it is raining during my tour time?

We will make every effort to perform, including playing in the rain. There may be some changes to the content of the show in order to protect the instruments used in the performance. Only in instances of dangerous, inclement weather (such as dangerous lighting, hurricane, tropical storm or tornado warnings) will a performance be cancelled.

The weather plays an active role in our immersive theatrical experience. Purchasing a ticket for the tour means signing up for an adventure. Since most of that adventure occurs outside, we encourage you to prepare accordingly (umbrellas, raincoats, rain boots, etc. when necessary) and to watch the weather as your event date nears.

If a performance is cancelled due to weather, exchanges to another performance will be offered at no additional cost. Please note that rescheduled tickets will be subject to specific makeup dates to be determined by Bated Breath.

What happens if my tour is cancelled due to inclement weather?

Cancellation decisions are made in consultation with weather professionals based on the specific forecast for Voyeur: The Windows of Toulouse-Lautrec at the time of the performance.

Cancellations due to weather will be communicated on our voicemail daily. Call 212-518-1859 if you are concerned about a weather-related cancellation during your show time or date. We will also attempt to contact you via email when possible.
